    Explore Our Mission

Sagebrush and Wildflowers Sagebrush is not a member of sage family but the sunflower family. When attacked by insects, sagebrush can talk to each other by emitting a volatile organic compound that neighboring sagebrush plants can sense and then produce defensive chemicals to protect itself. This beautiful plant blooms in late summer or early fall, typically flowering right before the first frost. The flowers rely on wind and freezing temperatures to ripen the seeds. Endangered greater sage - grouse relies on it for food. The plant is being diminished from overgrazing of livestock, wild fires, and invasive species . Our trucker hats are light weight (made with foam in the front) super vibrant, comfortable, adjustable and keep the sun out of your eyes, the elements off your face, and the wild protected. Generating awareness around threatened species and wildlands through affordable and functional art. We are a 1% for the Planet Member, which means will are committed to giving at least 1% of our sales to partner organizations.

Hi! I’m Katherine Homes, friends call me KT! I’m an artist, activist, and have an interesting environmental background that is too long to fit on this page, but I'll try. When I was very little I was very shy. I often played behind my house in our tiny forest and sang to the birds, caught fireflies, counted shooting stars, and believed I could heal hurt animals with the energy in my hands. In my late teens and early 20's I got lucky and attended a university that had some of the most incredible outdoor and environmental professors and they changed my life. My love for the arts, music, outdoors and wildlife persisted.
